The Harvard Representation Initiative (HRI) offers pro-bono legal immigration consultation and representation, inclusive of social work support, to members of the Harvard community who are undocumented, DACAmented, or non-U.S. citizens who are concerned about their immigration status.

When you reach out, please provide the following information: Name, Harvard Affiliation (student/employee), phone number, email address, immigration status, and brief description of immigration legal support needed.
HRI’s legal representation includes assistance with filing immigration applications, representing clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), in Immigration Court, and beyond. All Harvard community members with immigration questions are encouraged to schedule a free consultation with their attorneys.
HRI also offers social work support to all clients as part of their legal representation. Their clinical social work team can assist with emotional support, health insurance issues, financial concerns, food insecurity, and other resources on and off campus.
If you need urgent help outside of HRI business hours: If you are a Harvard community member facing an immigration matter outside of HRI’s business hours, please contact their mobile line at (857) 242-6755. They will do their best to respond as soon as possible. Please send a text message or leave a voicemail with a brief explanation of the reason for your call.
