Harvard-HUCTW Joint Statement on New Contract
We are pleased to announce that Harvard University and the Harvard Union of Clerical and Technical Workers have reached agreement on a new three-year union contract. The Tentative Agreement represents a commitment to fairness on the part of both parties and recognizes the important role HUCTW members play in the success of the Harvard community.
The Tentative Agreement provides for annual pay increases and includes updates on a number of policy issues of mutual interest to the Union and the University. HUCTW leaders and the Office of Labor and Employee Relations will be providing detailed information about the substance of the Tentative Agreement to union members and managers over the next few weeks.
A ratification vote among HUCTW members is scheduled for December 4, 2018. If ratified, the new Agreement will replace the most recent HUCTW-Harvard contract, which expired on Sept. 30, 2018.
