Reimbursement for 2025 Copayments

The Copay Reimbursement Program (CRP) helps HUCTW members who are enrolled in a Harvard-sponsored medical plan with their annual medical copayment costs when they exceed certain amounts. If you or your family members spent a significant amount on doctor, hospital, or prescription copayments in the previous calendar year (CY2025), you may be eligible for reimbursement under this program. You can apply by filling out the CRP reimbursement request form, including a list of your copays from 2025, and submitting it to Sentinel Group (Harvard’s new claims administrator). As supporting documentation, you can download a list of your copayment claims (which Sentinel refers to as an “Explanation of Benefits”) from your insurance provider’s website. You can also call BCBS and request the list be emailed to you. However, please note that it can take BCBS between one and four weeks to email you the list, so downloading a list yourself is usually the fastest method. Alternatively, you can ask for copay receipts directly from your medical provider(s). Learn more on the Sentinel website and scroll down on that same webpage to apply using the copay reimbursement form. Sentinel is a new service provider for Harvard so please let us know if you encounter any problems. Please note this program is only available for union staff. Non-union staff are not eligible to apply.
