As you likely know, HUCTW’s current contract with Harvard expired September 30, but HUCTW and Harvard have not yet reached agreement on a new contract. Although negotiators want to reach agreement as soon as possible and have made good progress in a number of important areas, the Union and the University’s ideas on the salary increase program are still too far apart to reach agreement on a new contract at this time.

As such, Harvard and HUCTW have agreed to extend the current contract (which includes the HUCTW Agreement and Personnel Manual) until agreement is reached on a new contract.
