Rally on May 24 & Other Negotiations News
Dear HUCTW Members,open letter last week, we have not yet reached agreement with Harvard on a pay program. We are writing to let you know about upcoming & recent events that we hope will help negotiations reach a fair conclusion as soon as possible!

HUCTW will be having a rally for a fair raise in Cambridge during commencement week on May 24 from 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm. Details to follow. Please save the date and time!
NEW SUPPORT FROM ELECTED OFFICIALS:
- U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren
- Massachusetts State Senator Pat Jehlen
- Malden Mayor Gary Christenson
- City Councilor At-Large Willie Burnley Jr. & the entire Somerville City Council

We will be sharing all statements of support with University administrators. Thank you also to HUCTW HBS member Will Lombard for his help in securing statements from Senator Jehlen, Mayor Christenson, and the Somerville Council!U.S. Senator Ed Markey, State Representative Mike Connolly, State Representative Marjorie Decker, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, Boston City Councilor Liz Breadon, Boston City Councilor Kenzie Bok, Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui, and the entire Cambridge City Council.
These new statements are on top of the strong support HUCTW workers have already received fromPICKETING AT SCHOOLS ACROSS THE CAMPUS
In recent weeks, HUCTW members and leaders have held energetic pickets and events for a fair raise at locations across the campus, including: the Business School, the Law School, the Kennedy School, the School of Education, the Division of Continuing Education, the Longwood Medical Campus, and the FAS “Visitas” event for visiting & new students! In the coming weeks, we will hold more informational pickets and events like these! Please also come out to HUCTW’s ongoing picketing to support negotiations in front of Mass. Hall in Harvard Yard this week Tues/Weds/Thurs, anytime between 12:00 – 2:00 on any of those days.
