HUCTW negotiators are happy to announce that Harvard and HUCTW have reached a tentative agreement on a one-year contract, which will run from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.  Brief highlights of the agreement are outlined below and you can read a full Detailed Summary of the Tentative Agreement on our website. Negotiations for a new Agreement began in May 2021 and they were incredibly challenging amid the pandemic. The HUCTW Childcare Fellowship need-based fund that helps HUCTW members with the costs of childcare incurred during the calendar year. The 2022 Fellowship helps with childcare costs incurred between January 1, 2022 and December 31, 2022. The awards are determined based on your household income and the cost of your care. Education Fund Deadline: June 10


The Education Fund is an HUCTW-Harvard negotiated program that helps with the cost of courses not eligible for reimbursement TRP and TAP. Courses and programs eligible for the Education Fund include things such as test prep courses, conferences and seminars, and continuing education classes at non-accredited institutions. The Education Fund will also help with the costs of non-Harvard courses eligible for TRP if you have used up your entire $5,250 annual TRP reimbursement maximum.…

Learn about the ongoing dispute between HUCTW leaders and Harvard administrators regarding the University’s refusal to abide by our longstanding contractual agreement around the review and resolution of sexual harassment complaints in the workplace. In 1989, Harvard and HUCTW agreed to a formal problem-resolution process to address Union members’ complaints of sexual harassment at Harvard.
